In the past 20 years, Richard has worked for top corporations performing under many different titles and positions: Sales Representative, Retail Store Manager, HR Benefits Analyst, Trade Marketing Manager, and Brand Manager. His career began at Rite Aid Drugs, he worked towards and learned how to operate and achieve an annual target revenue of over 9 million dollars. He also managed over 25 employees while training many Assistant Store Managers. In 2012, Richard was also able to accomplish a sales target of over 100 containers of sauces with a growth of 20% per year. Recently, he has been working to help his company’s beer distributors gain more market share for their business portfolios and help retail customers improve their business. He has gained a great network from each career and industry that he has been a part of.
How I Add Value to your Business:
Richard spent 14 years in retail business and joined the SBDC in May 2020 to further assist small business owners. His goal during COVID-19 is to help small business owners learn how to get past these difficult financial strains through effective business planning, recover and expand their businesses, and implement strategies to save costs and produce more. He will also help these business owners recover the on-hand free capital. Over the past 15 years, Richard has helped a lot of retail managers and owners unlock their business vision and grow their business with at least 10% growth.

The key to success in entrepreneurship is to ANALYZE to improve. It is to measure business performance; it’s an actual result so there is no need to guess. If small business owners can analyze the loss and the growth of their business, they can manage the controllable and uncontrollable variables for overall strategy.
